Die erste virtuelle TIC & VIR Travel Start-up Night 2022 am 8. Februar

Following the grand finale of the 2021 TIC & VIR Travel Start-up Nights, where last year’s winners were announced, we’re already on the hunt for the “Travel Start-up of 2022” as we kick off the new year! For the first edition, we cordially invite you to the virtual Travel Start-up Night on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. one.

Be there when we say “1, 2, 3, Pitch!” for the first time in 2022 and discover exciting and innovative concepts in the tourism industry! Let yourself be inspired by the curiosity and drive of these young companies, and connect with interesting players in the tourism industry during the networking session that follows!

As part of Travel Start-up Nights, a joint initiative of the TIC and the VIR, tourism startups have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to an industry audience and convince them of their concept. The first-place winners from each event, as well as the two best second-place finishers, will have the chance to compete in the grand finale at the end of the year for the title of “Travel Start-up 2022” and a fantastic prize package,whichwill be announcedfor the first time this yearat the very start of the event series. This year, however, it’s not just a major prize package awaiting the top 3; all other startups that pitch at a Startup Night throughout the year will also have the chance to participate in a targeted support program led by teams of renowned investors, offering advice, coaching, mentoring, networking, and assistance with the fundraising process.

Travel startups that have been in business for up to three years can apply to pitch at the 1st Startup Night 2022 until January 25. More information on how to apply is available here.
