A colorful mix

The Alliance for Tourism Diversity (ATV) at ITB Berlin 2026

The ATV will have a strong presence at ITB Berlin 2026. The world’s largest travel trade show is once again the central gathering place for the German tourism industry this year. In attendance will be many member associations of the Alliance for Tourism Diversity (ATV), representing the alliance, their respective associations, and their members.

The focus is on targeted networking events and in-depth discussions on current industry topics such as supporting young talent and digitalization. In addition, the ATV offers fascinating insights into various segments of the tourism industry—from TravelTech to travel for children and young people. Another key focus is active dialogue with political representatives to jointly advance the industry’s key priorities.

The asr Bundesverband e.V.will have a joint booth in Hall 25, Booths 113, 114, and 209, at ITB 2026, offering exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their offerings in a central location. Several presentations are planned, and of course, plenty of networking.

The BundesForum Kinder- und Jugendreisen e.V.  will be at ITB Berlin in Hall 4.1, Booth 203. Under the motto “Safe and Enjoyable Travel,” the association is highlighting a key issue: building trust through quality, educational responsibility, and reliable safety standards in children’s and youth travel.
Children’s and youth travel is more than just a tourist product. They create educational spaces, promote independence, and enable important social experiences. For these trips to succeed, transparent standards, qualified supervision, and clear safety concepts are essential. As a central expert and networking hub, the BundesForum highlights at ITB how to recognize reputable offerings and invites industry professionals, parents, and stakeholders from tourism and youth services to engage in dialogue.
At the booth, the BundesForum will provide information on how quality and safety are implemented in practice, ranging from clear quality criteria and trained staff to emergency and communication plans. Trade visitors will also gain insights into best practices in quality management as well as receive individual consultation, particularly for accommodations and organizers seeking to systematically improve their standards.
Another focus is the new digital continuing education program HausKompetenz. The modular online series is aimed at managers and staff of group accommodations and provides practical knowledge on organization, cost-effectiveness, legal frameworks, and quality assurance. The goal is to establish accommodations that are sustainable, professional, and safe.

The Federal Association of German Bus Companies (bdo) e. V. will be located in Hall 25 at Booth 209 throughout the trade show. On March 5 at 12:00 p.m., they will present their economic survey there. Interested parties are welcome to stop by at any time!
