Erste TIC & VIR Travel Start-up Night 2024 auf der CMT in Stuttgart

And here we go again with a new round of the TIC & VIR Travel Start-up Night 2024!

On December 7, 2023, the 2023 winners were announced at the grand finale held at TVG in Munich. The startup avanera impressed both the jury and the audience and won a prize package totaling over 100,000 euros.

Now we’re kicking off another year, and another young startup has the chance to qualify for the finals at the end of the year. For the first edition, we’ll be guests at the CMT in Stuttgart on January 18. We’d like to cordially invite you to attend our event and be inspired by the innovative business ideas of these travel startups. By attending the TIC & VIR Travel Start-up Night, you’ll also receive a free day pass to the CMT—the world’s largest public trade fair for tourism and leisure—on the day of the event!

CMT is the largest consumer trade fair for tourism and leisure aimed at B2C providers. Over the course of nine days, exhibitors can take advantage of this opportunity right at the start of the year to convince potential travel-loving customers of the merits of their products. The fair therefore offers a perfect environment for networking and sales, even for tourism startups.

As part of Travel Start-up Nights, a joint initiative of the TIC and the VIR, startups in the tourism industry have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to an audience of industry professionals and convince them of their concept. To qualify, companies must offer products or services that are applicable to the travel industry. The goal of this event series is to honor the “Travel Start-up 2024” at the end of the year. Startups interested in participating can find more information about the application process here. Once again this year, the top three winners will receive great prize packages. The application deadline is January 12 at 2:00 p.m.
