Vierte TIC & VIR Travel Start-up Night 2023 in Zürich

Don’t miss out when, for the fourth time this year, at the TIC & VIR Travel Start-up Night 2023 is called “1,2,3 Pitch!”—come discover exciting and innovative concepts from startups in the tourism industry! Let the curiosity and drive of these young entrepreneurs inspire you, and connect with interesting players in the tourism industry during the networking session following the five pitches!

As part of Travel Start-up Nights, a joint initiative of the Travel Industry Club (TIC) and the Association of Online Travel Agencies (VIR), tourism startups have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to a diverse audience of industry professionals, students, other startups, investors, and other interested parties, and to convince them of the merits of their concept. At the end of the evening, the audience decides which of the startups will take home the victory. The first-place winners from each event will compete in the grand finale in December 2023 for the title of “Travel Start-up 2023” and a prize package worth approximately €60,000.

Our fourth VIR & TIC Travel Start-up Night 2023 in Zurich will be hosted by Hotelplanin cooperation with Chain4Travel on November 9, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Chain4Travel is a travel technology startup headquartered in Switzerland that has created Camino, a consortium blockchain tailored to the needs of the travel industry. Camino offers a versatile development network to reliably, cost-effectively, and efficiently map current business models and build entirely new, innovative, blockchain-based business models.

Travel startups founded within the last five years can apply until October 24 to pitch at the fourth TIC & VIR Travel Startup Night 2023 in Zurich. To be eligible, companies must offer products or services that are used in the travel industry. More information on how to apply is available here.
