An Interesting Master's Thesis: Google's Impact on the German Online Travel Market
As part of our Search4Talents Initiative We regularly assist tourism students with their bachelor’s or master’s theses. As experts in digital tourism, we give interviews, offer suggestions, and explain complex processes in online tourism. This often leads to interesting surveys and research questions from the students.
One of these fascinating master’s theses was written by student Marion Rehor at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef (IUBH) in collaboration with VIR. Titled “The Impact of Google’s Travel Services on the German Online Travel Market,” the thesis uses a survey of experts to forecast Google’s future impact on the market.
