Teamleiter Digitales Management bei Tourismus-Marketing Brandenburg GmbH
In addition to his work in destination management in the Spreewald, where he has collaborated with hosts and guests over the past few years, digital enthusiast Marcel Tischer has, in his role as a representative of Brandenburg’s state tourism marketing agency, helped shape key digital projects in Germany, such as the DZT’s Open Data Knowledge Graph, the Open Data Tourism Alliance, and the DTV’s Route 3.0 quality criteria. Since 2018, as Team Leader of Digital Management at TMB Tourismus-Marketing Brandenburg GmbH, he has been responsible for the system landscape of the Brandenburg Content Network and its associated digital services, expanding it into one of the largest public tourism data platforms with over 500 institutional users and more than 2,000 digital distribution channels. Since last year, he has also been involved in various digital projects as part of the Digitalization Working Group of the Zukunft Tourismus platform. For some time now, he has been actively engaged as a lecturer at HWR Berlin and DHBW Ravensburg, supporting the next generation of professionals in the tourism sector.
